Dr Kumar Gandu

Dr Kumar grew up in South India and is fluent in English, Tamil and Telugu. He has moved from Melbourne after completing ADC Exams and has lived in Toowoomba since 2006. Dr Kumar has gained a wealth of dental knowledge and experience since graduating with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1997 and he is the owner and principal dentist here at The Avenue Dental and Pittsworth Dental Surgery. Dr Kumar also holds a Graduate Diploma of Orthodontics from JCU in Cairns.

Dr Kumar is a General Dentist, but his clinical interests include cosmetic dentistry such as Braces, Invisalign, Veneers and Crowns. He finds happiness in giving others the ability to smile and help them achieve the best version of themselves.

In his free time, he enjoys cooking and travelling, as well as, spending time with his children and watching movies with them. Dr Kumar is also interested in meditation and works closely with a non-profit organisation to regularly organise meditation classes for the community.
