X-rays

Dental X-ray

On your first dental visit X-rays are generally taken to determine whether there is any decay in-between your teeth or under any fillings which cannot be seen by looking in the mouth, these are called bitewing X-rays and we suggest they are retaken every two years. X-rays are also used to determine the length and shape of the roots before extraction is performed. In some case’s a full mouth X-ray (OPG) may be required if X-rays cannot be taken in the chair or for Braces and Wisdom teeth diagnoses.
